In 1989 we purchased our first Miniature Horse. Falling in Love with this breed we quickly learned one wasn't enough. Living on 2 acres we rapidly  outgrew our space. 
 Now we are Nestled in Northern Louisiana (Shreveport) and  have 20 acres devoted to raising superior quality correct and refined AMHA/AMHR miniature horses. Southern Pride Mini's are raised to meet the  AMHA's
 Standards of Perfection
In 2004, our main stud, third generation, 29”, black and white blanket Appaloosa produced his first offspring.  We are very proud to have some of his weanling miniature horses for sale this year as well as some miniature yearlings from NFC Egyptian King God Son .
Here is a sampling of our miniature horses. We are using studs with strong Appaloosa genes and their offspring reflects this gene Poole .  Here is a sampling of the offspring we have produced. We are having new babies all the time.
